Republic RF-84F Thunderflash – Tanmodel 1/48
Tanmodel 1/48 scale, box number 2201, RF-84F Thunderflash kit with Turkish Air Force colors, belongs to 1st AB. 114.Filo ESKISEHIR. 1956-1972.
This kit is the second production of the made in Turkey company TANMODEL. First one was the 1/72 scale TAI HURKUS-A.
This RF-84F is sole RF-84F model with engraved panel lines in scale 1/48. Tanmodel filled this deficiency. Including really nice detailed cockpit, seamless air intake, detailed landing gears and amazing camera parts.
Canopy is optionel open or closed. One piece canopy included. Ailerons and flaps are optionel extended or retracted. And camera bay can be build open or closed.
Eight different decal pattern including Italian, German, Netherlands, USAF, French, Hellenic other than Turkish Air Force decal.
Skill level is 5 by 5 in my opinion. This kit not for beginner certainly. Even though only second kit of the TANMODEL, RF-84F is really nice and acceptable kit. Strongly recommended.
